Elinor is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the department of Migration at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior, Germany. For her PhD, Elinor studied immunogenetics and ecoimmunology in important reservoirs for emerging infectious diseases. Her current work integrates genomics, immunology, movement ecology and epidemiological modelling to understand the dynamics of infectious diseases in animal populations as well as the role of animal hosts in the spread of infectious diseases.
