Ausraful Islam, Researcher, Bangladesh
Ausraful Islam is a veterinarian and has been working at the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b) since 2009. He has obtained two master degrees: one in parasitology and one in public health. At icddr,b Ausraful is involved in zoonotic disease research focused on Nipah and avian influenza. He has multiyear experience of research which involves wild animals like bats, rodents, shrew, street dogs, etc. He is leading the DARPA project activities in Bangladesh.
