Brent Jones, Graduate Student, Australia

Brent is a PhD student at Griffith University. He completed a BVSc at James Cook University and an MSc in International Animal Health with Edinburgh University. A veterinarian of livestock and companion animals for 8 years, Brent is planning to investigate viral community dynamics within Australian flying-foxes. He will be focusing on co-infection patterns and the impacts these may have on the circulation of viruses within flying-fox communities.
