Gary Palmer, Postdoc, Australia
Gary is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Environmental Futures Research Institute at Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. He is a wildlife ecologist with an interest in the ecology and restoration of vegetation communities and landscapes with a particular focus on plant-animal interactions. He has a PhD from Griffith University in which he investigated rainforest fragmentation effects on patterns of interaction between vertebrate seed predators and seeds of a suite of tree species. His current research focuses on whether flying foxes are using restored rainforest patches as foraging habitat and how this is influenced by a range of factors from site- to landscape-scale.
