Julia Port, Postdoc, USA/Germany

Julia is a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at Rocky Mountain Labs, Hamilton, MT. She is interested in establishing tools to investigate bat cellular and adaptive immunology. Julia obtained her PhD from the University of Lübeck, Germany, and performed her doctoral research project at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg, Germany, investigating the implications of T-lymphocyte homing on Lassa fever pathogenesis and transmission. Previously she obtained a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, working on immunotherapy for HIV.
