Kofi Bonney, Collaborator, Ghana

Kofi is a Senior Research Fellow and a Virologist currently working in a Bio-Medical research institute, Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR), University of Ghana in Accra. His research interests include molecular and serological investigations of viral agents of emerging and dangerous pathogens: Viral Haemorrhagic Fevers such as Ebola, Lassa Fever, Crimean-Congo, Rift Valley and Arboviruses including Yellow Fever, Dengue Fever, Chikungunya, West Nile and Zika. Additionally, Kofi’s scope of research interest has also included work on the laboratory investigations and surveillance of viral agents of infectious diseases such as viral hepatitis and respiratory tract infections.
