Tony Schountz, PI, USA

Tony Schountz is an associate professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology at Colorado State University. His principal interests are in the immunology of reservoir hosts of zoonotic viruses. Much of his work has centered on viruses of bats, which have unusual immune responses that may contribute to selection of viruses that are highly pathogenic to humans.
