BatOneHealth team member, Amandine Gamble selected as a 2022 DARPA Riser

Amandine Gamble, a postdoctoral researcher at UCLA, was selected as a 2022 DARPA Riser. As part of her work with BatOneHealth, Amandine has been collaborating with mathematical modelers at UCLA and virologists at Cornell to propose innovative models and tools to inform and interpret animal experiments for the rapid characterization of emerging viruses in vivo. At the DARPA Forward conference series, she will present her work on the prediction of epidemiological parameters from laboratory experiments, with an illustration of SARS-CoV-2 incubation period.
