Wayne Bryden, Collaborator, Australia

Wayne holds the Foundation Chair in Animal Science at the University of Queensland. He was Head of the School of Animal Studies at the same University from 2002 to 2007 and prior to that appointment was Pro-Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney. His research group is currently pursuing various aspects of nutritional physiology, toxicology and immunity. In 2003 Wayne was awarded the Australian Centenary Medal for his contributions to science and education, in 2005 he co-chaired the Gordon Research Conference on Mycotoxins and Phycotoxins, and heis a member of the WHO Expert Advisory Panel on Food Safety.
